William Blake

William earned his BS and MS in Wildlife Biology at the University of Montana. He will continue to work from Lolo, Montana, where he has been an Avian Biologist with MPG Ranch since 2014, and leading the Intermountain West Collaborative Motus project since 2018.

In his role with ABC, William will provide key leadership and coordination of the Motus Wildlife Tracking System across the Northwest region. In particular, William will lead efforts to develop and implement priority Motus network infrastructure expansion across the Pacific NW, and provide technical assistance and training to the broad partnership of federal, tribal and state agencies, universities, corporations, and NGOs. William has substantial experience installing, maintaining, and advising partners on Motus network infrastructure across the region, and we are thrilled to have him take the lead in coordinating the Pacific Northwest Motus Partnership.
