Josh Lerner

Josh Lerner is the chair of the Entrepreneurial Management unit at Harvard Business School and the Jacob H. Schiff Professor of Investment Banking. His research focuses on innovation, venture capital, and private equity. He directs the National Bureau of Economic Research’s Productivity, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation Program. He founded and runs the non-profit Private Capital Research Institute, and has been a frequent leader of and participant in the World Economic Forum projects and events. He is the winner of the Swedish government’s Global Entrepreneurship Research Award. He is actively involved with the Essex County Greenbelt in Massachusetts.
