Private Lands Forester

An avid birder since a young age, Tim pursued higher education in forestry with a long term goal of managing forested ecosystems for birds. He received his A.A.S in Forest Technology from the SUNY ESF Ranger School in 2018 and then his B.S in Forest Resources Management from the SUNY ESF main campus in 2020. After graduation, he spent 5 years as a traveling forestry contractor working on Federal land across the lower 48 states. Tim’s current position as a private lands forester with the AMJV is as an affiliate with the USDA NRCS. He works out of the NRCS field office in Olyphant, PA. When not working, Tim enjoys birding, hunting, fishing, and time outside.
