Brian comes to ABC after serving nine years as the Executive Director of the Idaho Wildlife Federation.

He holds a Master’s of Science in Natural Resource Management from the University of Idaho where his research blended the relationship of natural resource sciences, policy, and human dimensions. He has utilized this interdisciplinary approach in his career spanning habitat restoration and wildlife rehabilitation, eventually growing into the advocacy and policy arena.

As leader of multiple nonprofits, Brian learned the science and art of fundraising, managing teams, building coalitions, and vertically integrating grassroots advocacy into conservation programs.

Brian lives in Boise with his wife, son and daughter, and bird dogs. They are frequently outdoors in Idaho’s backcountry hiking, rafting, fishing, and hunting.
