Every day, we are taking bold action to advance bird conservation in habitats throughout the Western Hemisphere. This includes working in legislatures at the federal, state, and local levels throughout the U.S. to ensure that policy supports bird conservation.
We work to preserve the legislation that underpins bird conservation, whether we are protecting the Endangered Species Act from attempts to weaken it or advocating for the renewal of critical legislation like the Migratory Bird Treaty Act. We work in broad coalitions to support a range of conservation policies to better the outlook for birds, from mitigating plastic pollution to protecting forests.
