Ashleigh White

Ashleigh is from Virginia, and graduated from Longwood University with a BS in Biology. After a series of internships working for the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute, Blue Ridge Wildlife Center, and Piedmont Environmental Council, she brought her background in science to her family’s farm winery that borders Shenandoah National Park in Virginia. She spent a decade growing and making wine on this property and others around the world in New Zealand, Australia, British Columbia, California, and Oregon. One of Ashleigh’s favorite college courses was Ornithology, and she is excited to further avian conservation efforts through ABC.
