Todd Fearer

Todd received his BSc in Wildlife and Fisheries Science from Penn State. He received his MS and PhD in Wildlife Science from Virginia Tech, conducting research as part of the Appalachian Cooperative Grouse Research Project and evaluating population-habitat relationships of forest breeding birds. He works on landscape-level wildlife-habitat relationships, the conservation of oak forest ecosystems, landscape ecology, and GIS. His research has focused on modeling forest bird-habitat relationships and examining landscape-level impacts of forest disturbances on bird communities.
