Duel Brown

Growing up in the Tallgrass Prairie of Northeastern Oklahoma, Duel is passionate about the intersection of native grasslands, ranching, production agriculture and wildlife. With degrees from Oklahoma State University and Colorado State University in Range and Ranch Management, his career has been focused on conservation based rangeland management within a livestock production environment. With over 10 years of experience working for the Natural Resources Conservation Service, as both an Area and State Rangeland Management Specialist, Duel has a length of experience working directly with private landowners and producers to implement conservation work. As the Senior Grazing Systems Specialist for ABC, Duel strives to continually improve upon conservation efforts within grassland based ranching systems that improve wildlife habitat for birds and other native species.
