Jack was the longtime owner and operator of the Blue Dog CDs and Records in Fredericksburg, Virginia. He received a BA in Government and Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia in 1990. Prior to that, he worked for many years with emotionally disturbed adolescents in Charlottesville, Virginia. He is an avid, though amateur birder, competitive runner, and current President of the Fredericksburg Area Running Club.
