Lynne Mecum

Lynne joins ABC with over 15 years of conservation fundraising experience with organizations such as The Nature Conservancy, National Audubon Society, Student Conservation Association, and National Parks Conservation Association. Lynne holds a BA from Kenyon College and an MS in Animal Behavior from Bucknell University, where she studied the foraging strategies of Downy Woodpeckers and Black-capped Chickadees on the goldenrod ball gallmaker (Eurosta solidaginis). Lynne is an avid birder who spends her spare time oil painting and rescuing migrating birds that collide with buildings downtown as a volunteer for the Chicago Bird Collision Monitors.
