Christian Meny

An avid outdoor adventurer, Christian lives with his family in Helena, Montana. He comes with over 20 years of experience in the field of avian research, including: contributing to Montana’s Statewide Management Plan for the Common Loon, leading Montana’s Integrated Monitoring in Bird Conservation Regions program (IMBCR) with the Intermountain Bird Observatory, facilitating bird monitoring for the World Wildlife Fund-Sustainable Ranching Initiative, conducting bioacoustics monitoring at the MPG Ranch, and managing National Audubon’s Conservation Ranching Initiative in Montana- as the Director of Conservation at Montana Audubon. In his new role as ABC’s Grazing for Birds Program Leader, Christian strives to build a team that will deliver a rancher-centered conservation initiative- focused on sustaining grassland birds, resilient rangelands, and working ranch economies across the Great Plains.
