American Bird Conservancy's Top Priorities in Hawai‘i:

• Palila recovery: This project is planting native plants and protecting the core breeding habitat for Palila. With your help, we can expand and intensify these efforts.
• Maui Parrotbill forest restoration: The Nakula area has been overgrazed by non-native goats, but the site was recently fenced and all the animals removed. Your support will accelerate the habitat restoration and translocation of Maui Parrotbills to this historically occupied, but currently empty, site.
• Kaua'i forest birds: Kaua‘i's native birds are facing many pressures, but one that we can act on immediately with your assistance is protecting their nests from non-native rats.
• Birds, Not Mosquitoes: ABC is working with partners to break the cycle of mosquito-borne diseases that threatens many of the Hawaiian forest birds with extinction.
